SWEET! You gonna do a some squirrel huntin' with it? I just might! I'll eventually order the choke set for it but that will wait. I can also get a 2 round mag so I'll be legal to hunt dove with it. I can already see the downfall of having to dump the mag and reload it which will get old but I'm stubborn enough I'll do it.

Update! Over the weekend I went to Indy for the 1500. The main purpose for going was to purchase a knife. The closest dealer for this knife is roughly 2 hours away. I could've ordered online but I still wanted to handle it before buying. I was also interested in picking up a new upper for my AR to switch between the bull barrel and having a plinker set up. So now my AR is equipped with a 16" flat top with the magpul iron sights (even though they're plastic). The gun isn't near as heavy and shooting it is much more pleasant. The knife I picked up is an ESEE 6. This thing is pushing the limits of what I need in a knife but at the same time I should never have to buy another one like it. Oh yeah, back in late January I also picked up a 20 round drum mag for the Saiga 12. It's ridiculous. Really wish Indiana didn't have the 3 shell limit when dove hunting.

Sweet looking knife and AR. I can't even imagine trying to swing on a dove with the drum in that saiga.... I guess the 20 rounds would make up for it!

Sweet looking knife and AR. I can't even imagine trying to swing on a dove with the drum in that saiga.... I guess the 20 rounds would make up for it! I've got 12 round mags for it too. The gun is a lot easier to manage with the mags. The drum adds quite a bit of weight, does stick out too far on the sides and interferes with gripping the shotgun on the hand guard. Even if the stock is in all the way it still interferes.

My most recent purchase; an Angelo Zoli 12ga O/U. Took it out Monday during the snow and high winds and busted a few rounds out of it. It seems to be a good shooter.

That Saiga is pretty cool. I didn't know they made shotguns with a magazine like that. The twenty round drum is just ridiculous.
That O/U is a pretty gun.

I recently got a S12 with a 20 round drum. Pretty cool guns. Some times you have to do a little work on them to cycle low brass target loads.

Yeah, mines still picky about what I feed it. Sometimes it will run low brass 8 shot and other times it just refuses.

Sweet!!!! The 1500 is waste of time unless you you plan on buying something and/or have patients for crowds and some rude people. Seems like you made it through. Nice guns.

Awesome new gun Spainy. I used to go to local gun shows in Ohio all the time, but got sick of the crowds and entrance fees. I would rather give business to my local gun shop than go through the headache of a gun show.
What caliber is the new AR in?
