I’m starting the thread now & hoping to ad some pics over Easter weekend coming up. I have old tired eyes so my black finding skills aren’t very good, I do better with greys & yellows . Hoping to have a good run with the wet weather & temperatures rising. Let’s see some pics fellas & good luck 🍀

We've definitely had enough moisture for the shrooms! Hopefully it will be a good year.

One little shroom today that I left. Just looked around the homestead here. I cannot seem to find them here in Owen County even though the habitat looks so good. Also went back tonight with a UV/black light to see if they really glow. They don’t.

We’ll over the weekend it was hot & woods was dry so I didn’t start looking until Sunday & I found seven & froze my but off . I was gonna look today but with the high winds I stayed out of the woods. All of them I found were greys . I’m off next week & hopefully can score some yellows & a Turkey 🦃

Went and checked my spot today where I had left the small one. It was dried up but I did find enough for a taste and a few were fresh.

As a matter of fact, I do! Had to enlarge my screen a little, but there it was. That's a great picture of mother nature framing your beautiful dog in the creek too.

Probably my last of 2023. Found by itself under a tree I was trimming to make room for the storage container we have being delivered.
