how do you like the seat? I recently raised mine about 4 inches and it's like a whole new ride now. My back, legs, and butt don't hurt anymore.

The seat is comfortable enough, but 4 inches higher seems like it would make it even better if it doesn't make the center of gravity too high. How did you raise yours?? Is it something you found on a You Tube video? I'll look there, too.

I found an Ascend Kayak Owners group on Facebook and saw it there. I would bet there are already folks doing mods on your model. I would check youtube occasionally or maybe even Facebook.
EDIT: I just found a Pelican 120/100 Catch owners group on Facebook. I bet you can find some good stuff there.
