CORN! 🌽😄 The farmer picked the field a while back but it was right after we had those 35mph winds and 50mph gusts. That resulted in a lot of downed corn that I’ve been picking up for the horses. The deer have also been enjoying it lol. With the high prices it was still a record year for Gail’s cut of the profits.  |

I want one!!! I used to have a Kubota lawn tractor when I owned my place in the country. Great little mower.

Stupid is as stupid does. 🙄 Couple days ago someone hit a deer and it ended up in our driveway. When we got back from shopping in Terre Haute I hooked onto the doe with the Ranger to drag it across the field to the other side of the property where hopefully the dogs would not get to it. It had got dark and I misjudged where I was and dropped off into a ditch. It was buried! Went and got the tractor and almost got the tractor stuck before giving up for the night. I did use the tractor bucket to move the deer which I should have done from the start. Went out yesterday and had to dig the backside out by hand to where I could get the bucket underneath and finally got it out. Did bust a taillight but I’ll take that as bad as it was stuck. 🦌    |

I spent last Sunday leveling ground and spreading rock for a storage container we’re getting delivered. We’re gonna put a lot of our stuff in it while we remodel the modular.   |

Welp, looks like the container has drew some unwelcome attention. 🤬 Gail was home when these yahoos pulled in and she went flying over there. They started to stop but when they saw Gail had her phone out they took off. Man and woman who were on something. They were so messed up she called the cops. Hopefully they find them before they kill someone.  |

Well it wasn’t hard to figure out who it was with a truck like that and social media. Actually one of our neighbors and she’s a school teacher. 🙄
I’m guessing they sat around and got shitfaced on a Sunday then decided to go on a booze cruise.

Still working on the “Move.” If I’m not working 12hr shifts I’m putting in 12hr shifts at home moving, cleaning, and fixing. Gail has decided to relist with a realtor so we’re fixing a bunch of stuff that we didn’t at the as is price. She just had a pool company here getting measurements for a new liner. 🤨 The other day I cut up an old 10 person hot tub into pieces small enough to get through the gate. The pieces were still so heavy I had to use the tractor bucket to get them in the dump trailer. It took about 8 hours then I worked a 12hr shift that night. 😣 This weekend’s project is power washing for 30 minutes then moving stuff for an hour so I don’t burn up our well. Good times! 😂    |

Yay! Power outages suck, in my book! Our neighborhood has underground power lines, so it doesn't happen often.
