I still cannot believe what happened yesterday! Was on the tractor bush hogging and couldn't figure out what I was seeing out in the pasture. Thought a dog was laying by one of the horses at first. Got off to take a look and one of the mares had a foal! We just bought the mares in December and was told the one was just fat...LOL. Obviously NOT! Mother and young son seem to be doing fine. I had a video uploading but our internet has been total trash lately so not sure when I'll be able to share.

Looks like you might need to expand the pasture.

It's been darn near impossible to shoot any videos lately. Been working pretty much every day since we got back from Florida. Tonight makes 72 hours worked this week and tomorrow starts a new week with another 12hr night shift. Anyhoo...I had filmed this a while back so I threw it together just to put something out there.

I've been eyeing the same box blade at my local RK too. I would say if it can work up that driveway then there probably isn't much it can't do. The reviews of it are hit and miss and that's why I haven't pulled the trigger.

Yeah it actually does better than I was expecting. We had to order it online because the Terre Haute store is only caring the RK/King Kutter brand for some reason, which are pretty pricey.

Used it on the driveway going back to the ponds last night and it did great. There was one more hole on the ripper shanks so I put them at the highest they would go and it did a lot better. I had read that there was a learning curve to using the box blades but either thats not the case or I got lucky on my initial setup. You basically pull it and it picks up rock and drops it in the low spots and potholes.

Our old hay ring finally gave out and when I got rid of it the horses had the round bale stomped into the ground in a day. So off to Terre Haute we went for a new one. Rural King was way cheaper but even though it showed 2 in stock online, they were sold out. Went to TSC and paid to much even though it was $30 off and they took another 10% off. Oh well, like they say when you have horses...break out another thousand. Or maybe that's one of my other hobbies?

Relocated 75 black berry plants from dad's and Chase's patches to our place this week. If half of them survive we'll have a heck of a patch! I planted 20 by the orchard with a gate and landscape timbers for support...items that had just been laying around. The others I planted around the south half of our round pen. Hopefully all this rain won't drown them.
