went to the river after school with a buddy fished for 2 hours and he caught a 14" smallie a nice crappie, and 2 wiper. One was smaller and we thre it back but one nice one too. I caught aboiut a 4 lb channel cat, a 12" crappie, foul hooked and landed a 12 lb sucker?? , and a small smallmouth about 9". We were both throwin white mister twister 3" grubs on a 1/8 oz head. I caught the big crappie on the first cast after i had switched to a yellow grub. I then proceeded to get it snagged and lose the only yellow grub that i had on the following cast. It was a good time though and cant complain too much although i would of thought the wipers and skipjack would be biting like crazy in this kind of weather... Attachments:
