Another little video clip from spring break. Thought we might get into them when dad pulled one up before all the lines were even out....just wasn't the case though. That last fish was an "American shad." The only reason I knew that was I had done some research on what would be biting in the river that time of year. When these shad make their spawning run in late winter they will bite, presumably not to eat, but to attack other small fish. I guess a lot of people fish for them farther up the river using ultralights and little jigs called "shad darts."

look like a good time, no intro at front or end of video and look like some good bait yull cought at the end, wat kind of fish
