I am meeting up with Don Slagle, of Hoosier Hand Made Musky Baits, at about 5:30 am for another day chasing toothy monsters!! The weather today is perfect for musky, low pressure, light cloud cover and a little wind. Tomorrow is 30mph winds, on the front side of a high ;( Dang..Ya never know though..it might be the day that 54" Hoosier Musky decides to eat!!! Hope to be posting a pic tomorrow..

Well..When I said I wanted to post pictures, this was not what I had in mind. I am not sure what made these does decide to cross the wide spot of the lake along with the extreme high winds and 3' waves..They were sure glad to see shore. Sorry the pics were not better but I was trying not to fall in myself.. Fishing was slow most guys gave it up after a half day. We did manage to hang in til about 3:30..Don had a nice fish up on a topwater bait and I had two smaller fish follow to the boat. High pressure coupled with the winds made for a tough day on the water.

Sorry the fishing wasn't better. At least you were out there after them. Cool photo, though. I've seen deer do that, too. Not sure what they're thinking.
