Went down to Goose Pond FWA yesterday evening with the kayak to do a little exploring. Some rain was moving through when I got there, so I did some bank fishing to wait it out and caught 1 dink bass. I saw a few carp in a canal, so I grabbed the bow and launched the yak. Connected on my very first shot from the yak!   I should have quit right then because I missed every shot after.  |

Does that mean you're keeping the bow? I don't own a bow, sold mine this past spring. The one I'm using is Chase's old PSE that he rigged for bowfishing a few years ago. I'm still leaning towards getting a crossbow for this fall. |

Was this your first outing, Troy? Because I don't know if ive ever known of someone to kill on their first shot. Ive got one buddy who swears if he hits his first shot hell miss the rest

Ive got one buddy who swears if he hits his first shot hell miss the rest I had taken Chase's bow out before, but I think this was the first time I actually found some targets. I was 1 for 1 and now I'm probably 0 for 20 since! I swear I don't know how a missed a few of those.  |
