There's a little reservoir in NE Sullivan County that I use to fish with my nephew about 20 years ago and yesterday I thought I'd take the boys over and see what we could catch. Back when I fished it before it was only about 4 foot deep over the entire lake but it still held some big bass; now it's only about 3 foot. Not sure if the big bass are still there but it's still FULL of shad. We thought we were gonna get run off by a storm a few different times, but it only rained and we stuck it out. Chase caught a dink bass then I caught this... I thought it was pretty impressive to catch a 9" bass on a 10.5" worm. After another little rain storm Chase caught this one on a white x-rap. After fishing a while longer with no luck Chase broke out the cast net to try and get bait for the river. It didn't take long to fill up our little cooler. I was getting a kick out of Booey, he was putting the shad in a grocery sack and every time Chase would haul some in Booey would say "time to go shopping again." A little clip of the boys getting bait...
