We had a 15% off everything coupon for Ollie's so we decided to go cash it in yesterday since it was so nasty out. Went to the one up in Mooresville. They didn't have a lot of fishing stuff but what they had was clearance priced plus an additional 25% off. Picked up some Rick Clunn crankbaits that looked like the perfect size for crappie. These dive to 6-10' so I'll probably keep them in Indiana. The lakes we fish in Florida are only about 6 feet deep. Also picked up quite a few Wahoo bucktail jigs I'm going to take south to use on redfish as well as various other jigs and such. If you ever see an Ollie's it might be worth your time to check it out. You never know what you'll find!

I have never heard of them. Must be some sort of discount store. Yep, kind of like a Big Lots but they usually have some hunting clothes and fishing stuff. We first discovered them in Cincy and then found a couple close to our Florida place. The every day prices aren't really that great but if you sign up for the "Ollie's Army" they send you coupons that are sometimes good for 15-20% off everything you purchase. If you hit it just right when they have stuff on clearance plus your discount coupon you can get some bargains.

Gail sent me a message the other day from Ollie's in Terre Haute. They had some huge baits that she thought might be saltwater lures but my first thought was musky! Lol. I looked them up and they're Swedish made and used to catch those big pike over there. I'm sure they would work for musky and at $5.99 they would be worth a shot. Unfortunately she had already left when I got her message so I didn't get one. Might stop after work tonight and see if any are left. StrikePro was the maker.

I have never heard of them. Must be some sort of discount store. Daybreak, there is a brand new Ollie's in Mishawaka now. They are in the old Toys R Us building just south of the mall across the toll road. I haven't been there yet because they opened during the stay at home order but I'm looking forward to going once this virus stuff dies down.

Well, I just may have to check it out myself, when it gets safer out there. I always like good deals.

Stopped today and couldn't resist picking up a few lures! Had a 15% off everything coupon too. I have photos but tapatalk is being a trash app as usual. 😤

Fish or not, you’ll get a good upper body workout in throwing those things all day.

I stopped by the Ollies in Southport on Saturday. Nothing there. That sucks. I'm guessing the Terre Haute store is probably out unless they got more stuff in. The fishing rack was getting pretty bare.
