Gail and me got out early this morning and kept 11. The bite was slow but man was it a beautiful day! I caught the big fish of the day on a orange blue and white Road runner. Weighed 2lb 2 ounce and 15 inches and was released to spawn after a few pics.

You'll never want to catch Indiana crappie's again! You're a spoiled brat ...and you are proud of it! Just kidding of course. Keep the pics coming, we all love it!

Gail and me trolled the river again yesterday. We had a great day! Caught about 40, kept 20. Had a manatee surface right at the boat and I have no idea how we didn't snag it with one of the 12 rods we had out. Gail had the fish of the day again at 1lb 14oz. We decided to sleep in this morning and hit a couple fleamarkets but the folks are out there hopefully slaying them.

Last day, last mess for us down here. Thought we were gonna slay them this morning as we had 7 in the box before the sun got up past the trees. The bite pretty much stopped once the sun got high though and we ended up with 10. We had a great time and the nicest weather since I've been coming down in the winter. We're having a fish fry this evening then we'll be flying home early in the morning.

One of the coolest things about fishing down there is that you just never know what you'll see...gators, manatee, air-boats, bears, a million kinds of different birds, and the occasional airplane.

Kind of reminds me of Canada. Float planes are an everyday sight there. Dang I miss Canada! Need to get back there soon.

From Mom: "We were trolling along for an hour this morning with not much happening, then all at once I catch this 3# 3oz bass and 2 nice crappie all at the same time. Oh what a tangled mess I had."

Mom and Dad got recognized on the river the other day by somebody from Georgia because of our youtube videos. Guess they didn't know they were famous!
