Who does everyone think will be in the superbowl this year? I'm gonna go with the Saints over the Pats.

I agree with the Saints but I don't think the Patriots will get there. I will go with Saints vs Ravens with the Saints winning big.

I agree with the Saints, but I have no idea about the AFC. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if the Giants knock off the Packers and the Saints get home field for the NFC Championship.

49ers don't have the offense to go anywhere in the playoffs. Good defense only gets you so far.

There are of course exceptions to everything, but I don't think the 49ers can keep up with the likes of Green Bay, New Orleans, or New England.

Brian, so far your prediction about the 49ers couldn't be any more wrong than it is. With exception to the Patriots, defense has been the predominate factor so far in the playoffs. I know the NFL is an offense league these days but I still believe a great defense does more for you than a great offense . How many times are we gonna see a great defense shut down a great offense before we believe it? Saints and Green Bay better beef up their defense if they want to see the playoffs again next year. Steelers need to get younger on defense to remain competetive.

I admit that I never thought the 49ers would win that game, but I don't think I would call a 36-32 game a defensive game. I really didn't think the 49ers had the offense to score that many points. A strong defense definitely helps a lot of teams win games, but that is not always the case. This season, the Browns had the 10th best overall defense and were in the top 5 in passing defense. Granted they sucked against the run, but they still finished with 4 wins.
That being said, I will be rooting for the 49ers over the Giants and the Patriots over the Ravens. Two great defenses are still alive and both have a decent chance of getting to the Super Bowl.

Their defense was definately the deciding factor in that game. Good field position due to turnovers allowed them to score that many points. Don't let the Patriots defense fool you either. The stats would indicate that their defense is not very good but the problem is they are defending teams that are desperately playing catch up which skews the stats. I'm not saying the Pats are a great defense but I think they are better than given credit for. I hope the Pats get crushed!!!

MO. Worthlessburger is finished. TIme for the Steelers to get a younger less injury prone QB. I am a huge Packers fan but I agree our defense sucks. The problem is they are looking for the take away so either they get the ball or they let big yardage and scores to occure.

Saints already lost so no worries about them making the Super Bowl hunterguy. Also, don't be too bitter about them beating the Colts. They were bad enough to lose to the Browns this year too.
